Intelligence Department

Duty Roster All Personnel on duty in Intel Center during Alpha Shift, on call all other shifts

Ship-based Intelligence teams usually have between four and a dozen people depending on the size of the ship and the ship's mission. Exploration ships tend to have two or three from the analytical corps and one member from the liaison corps. Larger ships-of-the-line will have a full compliment including a clandestine ops team of three or four member, two members of an analytical corps, a liaison, and a tech ops. Each member will report to the ship-appointed department head, which is often part of the Liaison Corps.

Very few ships have clandestine ops teams; most will be assigned from off-ship for necessary missions. In that case, they will report to their ship-based handler, who will report directly to Director Jordan Elaithin. Again, the handler will work within the previous established ship's Intelligence framework, but will not answer directly to any member already onboard.

Other members of the ship-based team will report to their directorate heads as outlined above. Should problems or concerns about members of the team arise, it will be up to the ship-based department head to deal with the situation internally; it will often require notification to the various Directorate Heads (the ship's department head's as well as the Director of the division of the suspect team member) and will necessitate involving Internal Affairs.
